(14th October, 2014) Gitex is the 2nd largest technological expo and conference in Asia. It attracts over 154, 000 visitors annually, with more than 35, 000 from Africa. It is an annual event, held in Dubai, UAE to discuss various happenings in the technology space. It provides a great opportunity for networking, showcasing products & services, etc.
Nigeria was selected as the official country partner for the Gitex Technological Show, that took place in Dubai, from the 12th to the 16th of October, 2014. This was facilitated by the Federal Government of Nigeria, through the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), under the auspices of the Ministry of Communication Technology. The MD, Abiodun Adeoye was among the Nigerian Official Delegation to Gitex 2014 and was accompanied by the Sales Manager, Derek Nwafor. The delegation was led by the Minister for Communication Dr. Omobola Johnson.
At Gitex, ConSol was located at stand SR D30 in the Nigerian Pavilion. The MD and Sales Manager maximized the opportunities created by the event to market ConSol’s services and explore other avenues for potential business partnerships.
